Help us celebrate happy childhoods. Prevent Child Abuse Nevada and Advocates to End Domestic Violence invite you to join us on the front lawn of the Nevada Legislature building on April 6 from 12-1 p.m. to celebrate 2018 Pinwheels for Prevention.
Community partners will plant pinwheels in the legislative lawn Friday, April 1, 2022 to symbolize every child’s right to a safe, healthy, and happy life, and to impress upon the community that child abuse and neglect are serious problems.
Prevent Child Abuse Nevada received a $100,000 grant from UnitedHealthcare to introduce a new tele-home visiting pilot program that will check in with new parents two to four weeks after discharge from the hospital as well as provide additional support and engagement in mental and behavioral health services.
