Flames engulf Lincoln machinery warehouse The fire caused severe damage Photo: Drew Kearns A Lincoln business is waking to severe damage at its industrial rentals warehouse after an electrical fault sparked a fire. Fire crews from Lincoln South, Lincoln North and Waddington rushed to battle the blaze at Sunbelt Rentals on George Street just after 7pm on Monday, April 19. Once extinguished, inspectors said it was apparent there had been damage to eight mobile traffic lights units and plant machinery, as well as severe smoke damage to 100% of the building. Crash closes Doddington Road Avoid the area if you can. | Photo: Google Latest update at 10.30am on Tuesday, April 20: Drivers were advised to avoid Doddington Road in Lincoln after a collision on Tuesday morning. The crash happened just before the level crossing at around 7.40am and involved a red Ford Focus and a blue Audi Q5. Lincolnshire Police told reporters no one had been injured. Traffic was backed up on the B1190 in both directions. A section of the road was closed between the B1003 Tritton Road and Whisby Road. Local bus services were affected. #Lincoln. Woman with Lincolnshire connections wanted for fraud Officers think she might be in Spalding Kim Collins, otherwise known as Kim Brown, is wanted after failing to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court. Police have been looking for Kim since December 2020, and are now appealing to the public for help in tracking her down. Kim has links to Lincolnshire and may well be in the Spalding area, but she also has connections to Northants and Essex. Biker injured in Lincoln crash Police and ambulance attended A biker has been injured in a crash on Outer Circle Road in Lincoln on Monday afternoon. It happened after 5pm on the stretch of road near the junction with Wragby Road. Lives responders were first at the scene of the incident, and police and ambulance also attended.
