While speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest Adv Vijay Sharma appreciated the students for their active participation in such events dedicated to the contributions of Indian freedom fighters. He also hailed DIPR and Department of Youth Sports and Services for organising the events, which he said will help children to channelize their energies through sports activities. He also appealed to students to get inspiration from National Heroes who sacrificed their lives for pride of our motherland.
District Information Officer, Kathua Parshotam Dass said the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) has initiated a week long campaign under ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’ to sensitize public about key issues such as do’s and don’ts of covid-19, patriotism, besides educating people through cultural programmes on social menace like drug addiction, female foeticide etc ....
