North Texas lawn robot tech firm buys competitor, strengthens partnership with Swedish giant Husqvarna

Robin Autopilot USA, a North Texas-grown technology firm powering robotic lawn mowers, is acquiring a 16-franchise competitor backed by Husqvarna.
As part of the deal for Mowbot, Husqvarna will expand its partnership with Robin. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Husqvarna, a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, is a major investor in Mowbot and an equity partner in Robin. Mowbot will become known as “Mowbot Powered by Robin.”
