Awami League-backed Sammilito Ainjibi Samonnay Parishad won 15 posts, including president, while BNP-backed Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Ainjibi Oikkya Panel got eight posts, including general secretary, of Dhaka Bar Association for the year 2021-2022.
Advocate Abdul Baten was elected president from the Sammilito Ainjibi Samonnay Parishad while Khandaker Md Hozrat Ali was elected general secretary from the BNP-backed Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Ainjibi Oikkya Panel.
Abdul Baten got 4,473 votes while his rival candidate Md Mosleh Uddin Jashim got 3,934 votes. Khandaker Md Hozrat Ali got 4,261 votes while his rival candidate Md Firojur Rahman Monto got 4,073 votes. ....
