The Institute of Directors (IoD), Nigeria, is building a 15-floor fully commercial edifice in Ikoyi, Lagos at an estimated cost of N10 billion.
The edifice, to be known as IoD House, will be completed in 36 months, and is located at number 8, Temple Road, Ikoyi, Lagos State, where a ground-breaking ceremony was held recently.
The President and Chairman of Governing Council, IoD, Chief Chris Okunowo, stated that the edifice which will be built on a land area 3,237.716sqm and with a net floor area of 3340.40sqm, will be a standout building in the heart of Ikoyi and will become the corporate headquarters of the Institute of Directors Nigeria.
Experts seek large firms inclusion in agriculture space

Lagos, April 29, 2021 Experts on Thursday called for the inclusion of large firms to the nationâs current smallholder farming system to drive Nigeriaâs agricultural sector to its maximum capacity.
The experts made the call at the Institute of Directors (IoD) webinar with the theme: âOutlook of the 2021 Planting Season: Incentives and Opportunities.â
Dr Debo Akande, Executive Adviser on Agriculture to the Governor of Oyo, noted that smallholder farming was unable to sustain the kind of dynamism agriculture currently required.
Akande, also, a senior agricbusiness specialist, said major firms would be able to provide the technology, capital and the know-how to mitigate the challenges of climate change.
IoD Nigeria begins N10bn building project in Lagos The Punch

The Institute of Directors Nigeria, on Monday, broke ground on a N10bn house project, expected to be completed within the next 36 months.
The IoD House project is a proposed 15-storey edifice to be located in Ikoyi, Lagos State.
“It is an unparalleled residential and office project that will become the corporate headquarters of the Institute of Directors Nigeria by the grace of God, within the next 36 months,” its President and Chairman of Governing Council, Chief Chris Okunowo, said at the ground-breaking ceremony.
Okunowo described the ceremony as a climax of many years of dreams and activities by past leaders of the institute, for the creation of a befitting edifice to be the permanent home for the institute.
