Congress’ Punjab affairs in-charge, Devendra Yadav has been appointed as Interim President of Delhi Congress. On Saturday, DPCC President, Arvinder Singh Lovely had submitted his resignation citing veto on decisions by AICC general secretary.
The newly-elected Chhattisgarh legislative assembly has 72 out of 90 MLAs, with the BJP leading the list with 43 crorepati MLAs. The BJP won a landslide victory, with 43 out of 54 MLAs each having declared assets valued at more than Rs 1 crore. Congress MLAs have an average of Rs 5.25 crore, compared to Rs 11.63 crore in the 2018 elections. Bhawan Bohra, Bhupesh Baghel, and Amar Agrawal are the top MLAs with assets valued over Rs 27 crore.
