The 11th Magic of Christmas Toy Drive, a collaboration between Health First, the South Brevard Sharing Center and Brevard Family Partnership took place Tuesday and Wednesday when associates and leaders from the health system fanned out across Melbourne’s Target and the Walmart in Viera to shop for gifts for children in need.
Recently, nearly three dozen Health First associates were notified that their applications for 2023 Nursing Scholarships were approved. One was Vanessa Rodriguez, a Certified Medical Assistant working at the ENT and Audiology office at Health First’s Gateway Medical Plaza.
Cardiac nurse and new mom Lisa Suttles was at a Moms’ Club meeting at Health First’s Cape Canaveral Hospital when she had an epiphany. After watching one of Health First’s lactation consultants lead the meeting, even providing one-on-one help, she approached with a question.
