UAE Welcomes First Electric Vehicle Track Day at Yas Marina F1 Circuit

Fostering a sense of community to create a strong ecosystem and promote electric vehicles, EV Lab, a first-of-its-kind omnichannel, multi-brand electric vehicle platform hosted a dedicated Track Day event in Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina F1 Circuit.
The first event of its kind in the UAE, Track Day fosters conversation and active engagement among electric vehicle owners and enthusiasts, and serves to underline the value that EVs lend to the nation as the UAE moves towards reinforcing its resolve to fight climate change.
To support the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050, which seeks to produce 75 percent of the Emirate’s energy from clean energy, the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy mandated that 10 percent of all new cars in the Emirate must be electric or hybrid by 2020, and 10 percent of all cars should be green by 2030.
