That s what is proposed if the center is rezoned from general business to light industrial, according to city documents.  Staunton City Council will be holding a public hearing on potentially changing the zoning for the west end shopping center this Thursday.  The shopping center has been a big point of discussions for several years. It s been essentially empty since 2019, leaving the west end of the city with a gaping hole in retail and development opportunities.
