CAMDEN Phil and Roxy Sears-Johnson will share their past two year’s experiences cruising the Caribbean, crossing the North Atlantic double-handed to Ireland and currently sailing the waters off Spain during a Camden Yacht Club Sunset Seminar, Wednesday, Aug. 4, at 7 p.m.
They will share details of preparations of their 47-foot Cheoy Lee Pedrick, Sonder, weather routing, landfall in foreign ports during the global pandemic, and a mid-ocean rigging failure.
Roxy will show stunning photographs during this virtual presentation, according to the Yacht Club, in a news release. Her pictures can also be seen on Instagram at @sailingsonder and illustrating Phil’s articles in Yachting World magazine. Included in their presentation will be lessons learned, rewards gained and their transition to remote jobs.
