Head chef of Seattle s famed Canlis to leave, open new restaurant

Seattle restaurant Canlis has seen just about it all over the past year – a newfound crab shack, drive-in movie and even a community college.
And soon, it will see a new head chef.
The longtime, iconic fine-dining restaurant since the 1950s has seen decades of history perched atop Queen Anne. Now, it will see its sixth chef kickstart something of his own.
Recently, Canlis announced head chef Brady Williams would leave in February to launch his own restaurant.
