Wilmington, N.C. – Clemson women’s golf shot the best round of the day for the second day in a row to hold on to the top spot following the second day of stroke play in the 2024 ACC Championships. A top-four finish tomorrow would put the Tigers into Sunday’s match-play semifinals as they eye an ACC Championship repeat. Sophomore Isabella Rawl still holds the individual lead, shooting one-under-par on Friday to move to -6 overall. Rawl carded one bogey on the front nine, but turned in a bogey-free back nine with two birdies to hold on to the lead, with Wake Forest’s Rachel Kuehn making a charge.Sydney Roberts carded the best round of the day for the Tigers, nearly matching Rawl’s first round, but finishing at -4. Roberts sank seven birdies on the day, while bogeying the par-four 14th and finishing her front nine with a frustrating double-bogey on nine.
