On Fridays, families would rent the new big action movie from Blockbuster. Dial-up Internet gave you the opportunity to know the world around you while also teaching the beauty of patience. Every weekend, you could drive through any neighborhood and see parents playing catch with their kids. Random kites and balloons could be seen in the skies.
