Share ANN ARBOR, Mich. – In a match between two Top 10 teams as well as two bitter rivals, No. 2 Michigan edged No. 8 Ohio State 18-16 in a thrilling dual Friday night in Ann Arbor. The team dual came down to the 10 th and final match and fittingly, the 157-pound match went the distance. Michigan won the match on riding time after the conclusion of the second set of tiebreaker periods. The Buckeyes are now 5-3 on the season while Michigan returned from a more than two-week break and is now 4-0. Ethan Smith started the night with a big tone-setting win over No. 23 Cameron Amine in the 165-pound match. Smith had a nice takedown with under 40 seconds left in the third to claim a 4-3 lead and he rode out the remaining seconds for his seventh win of the season. ....
