(WVIR) - A Charlottesville nonprofit is shining a light on heroes in Virginia every Friday,, and now the organization is recognizing frontline workers at the University of Virginia Medical Center. âItâs been particularly emotionally challenging, physically challenging, but again rewarding,â registered nurse Ashley Harlow at UVA Medical Center said. (WVIR) - The coronavirus pandemic has caused many organizations to pivot their business model, but one nonprofit in Charlottesville has been able to continue to provide housing for immunocompromised children and their families during their time at UVA Childrenâs Hospital.
