all that counts is my family s still here. a spokesman with the texas state lonestar incident management team tells cnn that evacuation orders put in place yesterday were lifted as of this morning. let s bring in our severe weather expert chad myers. chad, you talk about these texas wildfires. 20 minutes, that just shows you how fast and deadly and dangerous these things are. the winds at the time were blowing 68 miles per hour. there s just nothing you can do to get out of the way when a fire gets in front of you. those firefighters were scrambling to put out hot spots as one jumped in front ever the other. then wind shifted direction and blew from the north at 50 miles per hour. it s been a brutal day in texas yesterday and still in east texas now. we have a new big red box. there could be tornadoes. we talked about this last hour. we could see the tornado threat from charlotte to atlanta and now it is there. we expected it. this is not a surprise, but right now if you re in chat
