the twin turboprop was reportedly flying in bad weather. it is carrying 54 people, 49 passengers and five crew members. we will keep you updated on the story as we learn more. and we begin with breaking news in east harlem. the search is on for a man that escaped police custody still in handcuffs. ilana gold joins us live from east harlem with more. ilana? reporter: andrea, police say the suspect is 25-year-old austin stevenson. they tell us he escaped from the 23rd precinct after he was arrested for trespassing. here is his picture. police released it moments ago. they want everyone to be on the look out for him. we wanted to show you video of police scouring the area by 102nd street and park avenue. they are going to a number of buildings trying to find the suspect but they haven t had any luck. here is what we know. the escape happened at 3:00 outside the 23rd precinct. they just took the suspect out of the patrol car. as they were walking him up to the building he g
