Tiffany reimagines iconic necklace with 80-carat diamond 1 minute read
Madrid, Jan 7 (efe-epa).- Tiffany has acquired an impressive 80-carat diamond to reimagine the historic necklace presented at the 1939 World’s Fair in New York.
Sources revealed Thursday that the diamond is the most expensive jewel that Tiffany has ever put up for sale.
The new necklace features a sizable stone, a flawless D-colour diamond the highest grade –, responsibly sourced from Botswana, Africa.
The design, inspired by the 1939 style, will be exhibited to the public in 2022 when the doors of the iconic store on Fifth Avenue are reopened after two years of remodelling.
