LA MONTE MAN SUFFERS FATAL MEDICAL EMERGENCY WHILE DRIVING

A non-traffic fatality was reported in Pettis County on Thursday, December 10.
According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a traffic crash occurred as 78-year-old Charles Von Holten, of La Monte, suffered a fatal medical emergency. His eastbound International traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence and several trees. Von Holten was pronounced deceased by Pettis County Deputy Coroner Brian Morley at 8:43 a.m.
The accident happened at 6:45 a.m. on Route HH, west of Smith Road. ....
