Osborn Drugs marks 50 years with a community party

It’s a golden day at Osborn Drugs in Miami, Okla., where owner (and NCPA past president) Bill Osborn and his staff are celebrating 50 years in business. They’ve got hot dogs, cake, and door prizes for the community celebration today, and they’ll also honor pharmacist Sarah Lomax, who is retiring after 49 years with Osborn Drugs. Bill’s father, Willie Osborn, opened the pharmacy in 1971 with a partner, Charles Neal, and a staff of five. Today, Osborn Drugs has more than 40 team members. ....

Charles Neal was born in Surrey in 1951. At the young age of 14, he began his formal study of art under the guidance of Malcolm Domingo and Frances Lane-Mason. The following ten years of Nealâs life were spent with these two artists, but at the age of 24, Neal decided to pursue his own personal style and technique, leaving Domingo and Lane-Mason, to travel throughout England and France for inspiration. ....
