FLEMINGTON The passion of one little boy has helped keep Grove Community Park in Flemington nice and clean.
Six-year-old Wesley Johnson and his family mother Carleigh, father Jeremy and little sister Aubreigh spent Earth Day picking up trash and cleaning up the park in Flemington.
“I wanted to do something for Earth Day,” Wesley said, shuffling with excitement as he met with borough officials on Friday afternoon.

FLEMINGTON Motorists traveling along Huston Street and Woods Avenue can expect possible delays over the coming weeks as a street project begins Monday.
Flemington Borough council reviewed the project, which will be completed by Big Rock Paving out of Muncy, during their meeting Thursday.
The project will include updating drainage, curb removal and replacement, placement of ADA ramps, milling, paving, scratch and overlay at a cost of $299,138.90.
Borough Secretary Charity Walizer said the project will be paid for through the borough’s PennDOT turnback funding. The funds were given after PennDOT returned care of Woods Avenue to the borough approximately two years ago.
