Two people were killed and one injured after they were crushed under the wheels of a chariot during the annual jatra of Siddhaling Maharaj Temple in Lachyana village, Vijayapura district. Eyewitnesses said that the trio fell under the wheel of the chariot after a stampede broke out when thousands of devotees were pulling the chariot. Indi police have registered a case.
