Sorting through storage, museum discovers treasures | News, Sports, Jobs

GUY FORSTROM, Menominee Range Historical Foundation Board treasurer, shows three rare pieces of German headgear now on display at the World War II Glider and Military Museum. While going through items in storage, Forstrom discovered a World War II German hat lined with rabbit fur, a 1915 Kurassier Metalhelme steel helmet and a “Pickelhaube” helmet, made of pressed felt. Work continues on the new historical museum in IM
