Dr K Sivan, former chief of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), said he actually wanted to become a school teacher but ended up becoming the chairman of the space agency
PM Modi will visit the ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) at Peenya where he will meet the ISRO team of scientists to personally congratulate them on the success of the Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission.
If all goes to plan, the lunar landing will be the finest moment till date of the Indian space programme, ending the disappointment of the crash-landing of the Chandrayaan-2 lander four years ago.
