Indiana University Maurer School of Law has announced a partnership with Indiana University Northwest on a new program for graduates interested in a legal education.
More than 740 students earned their degrees from IUN's Gary campus, 42% of them first-generation students, spokeswoman Emily Banas said in a release. Nearly 30% of them were aged 30 and up, she said, a point IUN Chancellor Ken Iwama drove home when he talked about graduate Shariss Hindman and the challenges she faced to get on that stage.
