According to data from Gaon Music Chart, SEVENTEEN is the best-selling K-pop group among idol groups that debuted in 2015, with 6,539,468 online and offline album sales. SEVENTEEN has seen success on the Gaon Charts very early on in their career.

Their second mini-album, Boys Be, which was released on Sept. 10, 2015, scored a nomination at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards. In 2020, their seventh mini-album Heng:garae sold 1,00,000 copies in under a week, making the group official million sellers.

On April 21, SEVENTEEN released their third Japanese single titled Hitori Janai, which translates to Not Alone. The album successfully landed on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 following its release, and it continuously climbed up the charts.
On April 28, Billboard revealed the rankings of Japan Hot 100 for the week of April 19 to 25. Hitori Janai, which debuted at No. 44 on the chart in the previous week, impressively jumped 43 spots and officially scored the No. 1 spot.
