SHAH ALAM - Jenayah rasuah berlaku apabila sifat integriti seseorang itu lemah selain wujud sifat tamak dalam diri kerana ingin hidup mewah melebihi daripada pendapatan yang diperoleh.
Timbalan Pengarah (Operasi) Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) Negeri Selangor, Penolong Kanan Pesuruhjaya (PKPj), Ridzuan Abdul Malik berkata, selain itu, rasuah juga berlaku apabila wujudnya ruang dan peluang untuk mereka melakukannya.
Menurutnya, peluang melakukan rasuah ini berlaku apabila wujud kelemahan aspek kawalan dalaman organisasi dan kelemahan sistem serta prosedur kerja membolehkan pelaku mengambil kesempatan melakukan rasuah.
Beliau berkata, terdapat empat kesalahan utama di bawah Akta SPRM 2009 antaranya meminta atau menerima rasuah di bawah Seksyen 16 dan 17(a) ASPRM 2009. ....
