The courtroom was crowded with friends and family of Reed. The trial began this morning with opening statements from the prosecution and defense.
Jurors also saw horrific photos of the accident scene and victim. Prosecutors say that Moss was driving drunk at over 100 mph when he crashed into Reed’s car. They also say that Moss’s blood alcohol was twice the legal limit. ....

DEKALB CO., Ala. (WAFF) - DeKalb County deputies say they busted two meth labs in March.
Kyla Marie Dabbs and Jody Daniel Phillips were arrested in the sting.
DeKalb County Narcotics Agents say they stopped the two in a vehicle on County Road 121 in the Blake Community.
That’s after receiving numerous complaints about possible drug activity.
Agents say that’s when they found heroin and marijuana in the car. ....

ARAB, Ala. (WAFF) - WAFF 48 is learning more about a Marshall County man who is facing federal charges on being a part of a militia group and storming the Capitol on January 6.
33-year-old Joshua James lives on Brashier’s Chapel Road in Arab. FBI agents raided his home on March 9 and one neighbor witnessed it all.
“I couldn’t believe it, I couldn’t believe I was looking at my neighbor that was in the Capitol during this riot,” said Tim Jones. ....
