In a short meeting on Monday evening, the SISD Board of Trustees made the decision to cancel the Trustee Election scheduled for May 4, since incumbents Chad Rosalez, Herman Peters, and Lance Wright faced no opposition for their at-large positions.
The deadline for candidates to file for the May 4 Election has passed. The last day to register to vote in the election is Thursday, April 4, and early voting by personal appearance is set to begin Monday, April 22 until Tuesday, April 30.
