Tonight one of the men who was bitten says he has a warning for swimmers. It was the first word that came to mind when swimmer Christian Isberg came face to face with a 400pound sea lion. No. I said no because i was saying no to death. He got one tooth on me like that right here. Ripped a good piece of skin off. He was still hospitalized when he heard about a second attack. A swimmer named Rick Melville bitten in the groin area. He just came here shocked. He just wanted to get to the hospital. Reporter witnesses captured a picture of melville being helped from an suv to an ambulance. Its going to be very difficult to know if its a single sea
Captured a picture of melville being helped from an suv to an ambulance. Its going to be very difficult to know if its a single sea lion thats attacking swimmers. Reporter melville says he will swim closer to shore and he warned fellow swimmers. Learn about these majestic creatures. Learn to respect them, learn to give them distance, learn to defer to them. Theres a Different Reasons why a sea lion would attack. It could be a young sea lion being territorial or it could have been sick or feeding near by. A red flag warning is in effect for all the bay area hills. Bryan acme joins us. A bit unusual for middecember. It doesnt happen often. But its been a few years. Warnings have been posted area wide. The combination to the north, high offshore. Strong winds right through sunday morning. Thats why there are wind advisories posted. Were going to have these conditions through sunday morning. Were going to have the complete forecast coming up. Tonight pg e say s if those winds get too stron
It is really all about cesar sanchez, [speaker not understood]. Its time for people to organize new civil rights, make thing this earth provides for us all. I hope thats the message tonight. Thank you. Thank you. Next speaker. Hello, good afternoon, supervisors. My name is douglas yip and i have lived in San Francisco for 63 years. I would like to thank the citizens that came here for Public Comment on this issue. I think its very important that the supervisors know that they are being observed. So, this way they know for the record it just isnt the federal government observing them. Secondly, i would also like to say that since San Francisco prides itself, so much as being a green environmental city, why would two major agencies be against a full eir . If you look at it logically, if you have nothing to hide, you would just do the eir, get it over with, and then the opposition would just be satisfied and there would be no argument. When you oppose an eir, one has a suspicion, a suspic

To me sharp park is a community i live in with my family. Two minutes is not enough time to go over the science on this, so, im not even going to try. [speaker not understood] is very important in pacifica. It is part of our community as i mentioned and it belongs to the city of San Francisco. We have no control over it, you guys do which is why i took time away from work and came here tonight. Im not a member of the wildlife equity institute, but id like to point out that u. S. Fish and Wildlife Service is frequently too under staffed to deal with issues like this item before you [speaker not understood], and they should be the ones addressing this with San Francisco rather than wildlife equity institute. If it were not for the efforts of groups like we, projects like this would be able to get by without
