Right now at 11 00, a pilot crashes his plane and dies just feet from a south jersey home as one of his closest friends looks on in horror. Good evening, everyone. Im natasha brown. Thank you for joining us. The plane went down in camden county. Steve paterson spoke with the pilots friend who saw this will all happen. Reporter it doesnt seem real. Worse to see the pilot moments before his death. The plane smashed up against the tree. Reporter unthinkable to realize that pilot is a close family friend on his last flight. And i waved to him. Reporter saturday unlike any day. He watched a man slammed into a wooded area. Police identified that man as 65yearold pilot david sees. Its not everyone crashes a plane in your front yard. A lot of sunshine in our forecast. However temperatures start to heat up a little bit and were talking about more humid conditions but it was warm today. 88 degrees was the actual High Temperature at Philadelphia International airport. 81 is where we should be. Record high is 95. Were not there. Humidity levels are on the lower side today. So, it does feel okay even though the sunshine still pretty much warming things up nicely. 86 degrees currently at the airport. Upper 70s in south jersey. A nice breeze coming off the ocean. Ocean water at 77 degrees. The farther away you are from the coastline the warmer you are this evening. Well keep things drive. Notice the wind direction coming right off the ocean. One neighbor told ann she heard the body had been there about a month. A fremont woman managed to escape a raging fire that completely destroyed her home. Four of her pets were not so lucky. The fire reported about 6 00 this morning. The homeowner was able to climb out her bedroom window but she had to leave her pets behind. Two dogs and two rabbits were later found dead inside. A cat is still missing. Neighbors say the house went up fast. I woke up to the sound of an explosion. I went outside to see who it was. I saw my neighbor using the hose through her window, spraying the inside of her house and there were flames everywhere. That was an older home in a neighborhood full of thick overgrowth. So putting out the fire was a bit of a challenge. Investigators are still looking in to a cause.
