Singapore Confirms 25 New Covid-19 Cases On 11 May
The Ministry of Health (MOH) has made early confirmation of 25 new Covid-19 cases today (11 May). This brings the national tally to 61,403.
Among them are:
12 imported cases
10 local infections are linked to previous cases, with 7 linked to the Changi Airport cluster.
Meanwhile, all imported cases had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore and were tested during their stay.
5 of 12 are Singaporeans or Permanent Residents (PRs).
As investigations are ongoing, we can expect more details in MOH’s update later tonight. ....

Four workers at Changi Airport and three TTSH patients are among the new Covid-19 community cases reported on May 9, 2021.

SINGAPORE - Four of the 10 new community cases announced on Sunday (May 9) are people who work at Changi Airport Terminal 3.
They are linked to an 88-year-old cleaner deployed at Changi Airport Terminal 3 and was confirmed to have Covid-19 infection on Wednesday.
The Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Sunday night that three other community cases are linked to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) cluster, while the remaining three are currently unlinked.
There are currently eight people linked to the Changi Airport cluster. ....

SINGAPORE, May 10 Singapore on Sunday (May 9) recorded 10 locally transmitted cases of Covid-19, of which four tested preliminarily positive with the B1617 variant that originated in India.
They were among 28 new cases of Covid-19 reported on Sunday.
The other 18 cases were imported and had already been isolated upon arrival in Singapore, the Ministry of Health (MOH) said.
Of the four who tested preliminarily positive with the B1617 variant, two of them had no known links with previous cases. ....

SINGAPORE: Two more people who work at Changi Airport - a Raffles Medical employee and a Certis Cisco aviation security officer - have tested positive for COVID-19, taking the total number of infections linked to the cluster there to 10.

SINGAPORE, May 10 (The Straits Times/ANN): More than 12,000 people currently on stay-home notice (SHN) have begun an additional week of self-isolation, the immediate impact of stricter border restrictions, as Singapore tightens up its measures amid a flare-up of Covid-19 cases at home and in the region.
