Hillingdon Women’s Centre are hosting a virtual winter concert at 4:30 this afternoon, showcasing work from an Ickenham based artist. Suzanne Munro will be performing a selection of winter-themed poetry and music for the centre, which has been supporting women in the borough for over 35 years. Munro approached the centre with the idea of the free concert to boost morale in Hillingdon and bring the wider community together. Izzy Sutherland, Project Support for Hillingdon Women s Centre said: “We were so delighted to hear from Suzanne, to showcase her talent and share it with our service users and beyond. “The concert is a feel-good piece that brings back those nice, warm, happy memories of things you have been able to do in previous years and still be grateful for them, even though they are not able to happen this year.” ....
