Sharjah Environment and Reserves seizes 755 bird sound devices, reports Emirates News Agency.

The Environment and Natural Reserves Authority in Sharjah has confiscated 755 bird sounds and 10 migratory birds, and issued four violations worth AED40,000 ($10,900) during the sector's wild bird migration season. A total of 732 devices, along with their attachments, were seized across two sites in cooperation with the Central Region Police. Additionally, 21 devices were confiscated in the city of Kalba, two devices were taken from the city of Khorfakkan and three from the Hamriyah region in cooperation with the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority. The protection of the environment and preservation of biodiversity was the primary concern. ....
