Cenla Giving Day supports local non-profits
In the past year, Central Louisiana has dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic, two hurricanes and ice storms. During all of those recovery and relief efforts, it was non-profit organizations that stepped up to the plate to help and serve our community, said Liz Mileshko, president and CEO of the Central Louisiana Community Foundation. Now it s our turn to support them.
Raising money for non-profits is more vital than ever, especially after this past year, said Mileshko as she spoke at the Rotary Club of Alexandria Luncheon on Tuesday. As Rotarians and supporters of our community I m so excited to share with you CLCF s newest initiative which is Cenla Giving Day, she said.
