'Embracing aging' classes available for seniors

Embracing aging classes available for seniors

Aging is a reality. Dealing with the aging process is not always easy.
The Frontier Extension District, Marais des Cygnes Extension District and Coffey County Extension are collaborating on a program called “Keys to Embracing Aging.” It is a free 12-part series designated to teach individuals health and safety behaviors that contribute to quality of life, overall well being and longevity.
The series runs Feb. 3 through July 7. The sessions will run every other Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
This will be a free program offered to people 60 and older and limited to 30 participants. ....
