More than 50 people protested the treatment of those experiencing homelessness in Salt Lake City and held a march to Vivint Area where NBA All-Star events were being held Sunday.
A proposal has been offered to keep homeless people off of the streets during the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend in Salt Lake City. But who would pay for the plan is a mystery.
“If the police care about people, if they care about protecting and serving they should be leaving this up. In fact, they should be helping in some kind of way,” Carl Moore said.
