Traffic barriers and one-way traffic are back in place on Hyannis Main Street to allow for outdoor dining and expanded pedestrian access to shopping and restaurants.
Stroll down to the Harbor Overlook next to Town Hall, where four StoryWalks will be featured for two weeks each through June 30. Bilingual storytelling will take place on Saturday afternoons at 2 p.m. on May 15, May 29 and two dates in June.
Growing veggies in containers
Most vegetable crops can be grown successfully in containers. In fact, some do better in containers. Cathy Cetta will discuss how planting in containers is different from planting in the ground, the types of containers available, what to use for soil, and how to water and feed your plants at 1 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Centerville Library.
