News and the controversy over his campaigns alleged ties to russia. We start with news that iran has sentenced a chineseamerican graduate student in prison for spying. That graduate student from a Top American University is looking at ten years in an iranian prison. That sentence comes on the day President Trump is supposed to decide on a key matter deciding the nuclear deal with the islamic republic, a decision that could come at any minute. Rich edson is at the state department. We expect that official decision shortly pray this is, as Princeton University says, the student was in iran conducting research. Iran says he assumed the role of a student so he could infiltrate their archives and send Sensitive Information to the west.
