1. Over the last several weeks, many lacrosse coaches from outside of the Big Ten have been sharing off-the-record information that the Big Ten will only be playing conference games this spring for men’s and women’s lacrosse, potentially playing a home-and-home schedule.
Inside Lacrosse wrote a story on Thursday sharing that sentiment based on feedback from women’s lacrosse coaches outside of the Big Ten that said they had been told by Big Ten coaches that they would not be able to schedule nonconference games in 2021. An unnamed men’s lacrosse coach told IL that no directive from the Big Ten Conference office to only play conference games had been shared with him. ....
