DARLINGTON — Maryland State Police and Maryland Transportation Department officials held an event Wednesday to show off the new $5.8 million weigh and inspection station near Cecil County.
The Sapps founded Lighthouse Full Life Center, located at 2415 Madison Ave SE in 2003. Abundant in their vision and favor, the Sapps were able to lead Lighthouse into its expansion to multiple locations in Grand Rapids and around the state of Michigan. MaLinda served in ministry for more than 20 years, including her time as the Administrative Pastor and beloved First Lady of Lighthouse.

He and his wife, Sandy, established Circle Theater’s first children’s company, where he wrote and directed its first production, “Hansel and Gretel.” He founded the Robeson Players in the 1980s to provide theatrical opportunities to Black actors and artists in Grand Rapids. He also co-founded the Grand Rapids Symphony’s “Symphony with Soul” concert.
