(Photo courtesy of PNP PDEG) MANILA - Anti-narcotics operatives of the Philippine National Police (PNP) seized over PHP149 million worth of shabu from three drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations in Valenzuela City and Pampanga on Sunday, a police official said. In a report, Brig. Gen. Randy Peralta, chief of the PNP Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), identified the suspects as Joseph Villamor Malasaga, 50; Algie Mingote Nabenia, 43; and Nolan Sarlego Julia, 38. The suspects were arrested at around 11:30 a.m. along Maysan Road corner Cecilio J. Santos St. in Valenzuela City. Police, together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), recovered 12 kilograms of shabu with an estimated value of PHP81.6 million, one piece of PHP1,000 bill on top of 10 bundles of boodle money, a Honda Civic with plate number UFY 330, assorted IDs and documents and two mobile phones.
