A South Bend baby was killed Monday in a crash on U.S. 31 and two other people were seriously injured.
Police responded to a three-car crash just before 4 p.m. on U.S. 31 at Miami County Road 100 North. According to Indiana State Police, two vehicles were stopped or slowing down for a red light at Miami County Road when a semi did not stop and hit one of the vehicles, pushing it into the second vehicle.
Leo Wallace, 6Â months, was killed in the crash. Cecilia Wallace, 2, was flown to Riley s Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. She sustained life-threatening injuries. Sarah Wallace, 32, was transported to a Fort Wayne hospital with serious injuries.
