TUCEE Institute holds maiden graduation on Cyber Counselling

The TUCEE Institute of Counselling and Technology (TICT) has held its maiden graduation ceremony for individuals who underwent eight (8) month training in Cyber Counselling.
Cyber Counselling employs the use of technological tools such as telephony, social media including WhatsApp, Instagram, zoom among others by the Cyber Counsellor to Counsel clients remotely instead of face to face meetings.
This method of psychotherapy has through research been proven to be more effective in providing satisfaction to clients since it enables them to freely express themselves on their predicaments for the necessary assistance by the trained Cyber Counsellor.
Counselors ready to provide Therapeutic support for LGBTQIA+ individuals

Certificated Counsellors in the country have set themselves up in readiness to offer a therapeutic helping hand to individuals who found themselves in gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQIA+) activities and are willing to stop the act.
This follows a day’s orientation training organized by the TUCEE Institute of Counselling and Technology (TICT) for the Counsellors held in Accra on the theme: “Working therapeutically with LGBTQIA+ clients: What counselors need to do”.
