Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan on Friday said India is looking at dealing with long-term challenges that may emanate from China besides focusing on the current situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan, along with Admiral John Christopher Aquilino of the United States Indo-Pacific Command (US INDOPACOM) on Wednesday discussed contemporary security challenges and affirmed stronger ties between both countries.
The CDS was delivering the keynote address at the Defense Literature Festival “Kalam and Kavach” organised by the Pentagon Press in collaboration with the Pune headquartered Southern Command of the Indian Army.
Around nine verticals including supply chain management, logistics and intelligence sharing were identified by the three services for ensuring an integrated approach laying the foundation for the ambitious theaterisation plan, Chief of Defence Staff Gen Anil Chauhan has said.
