Mr Bhandari calculated that if the school continues to hike its fees by 10 per cent every year, he would have to pay around Rs 9,00,000 per annum as fees when his son reaches Class 12.
Earlier, the CBSE Board published the list of schools with revoked recognition on its official website, and urged the parents to review it and refrain from enrolling their children in these institutions.
The Court also overturned CBSE's decision to dismiss the petitioner's request for rectification of her marks and instructed the Board to announce a new result.
The HC said that in the event of any conflict between a bylaw framed by the CBSE and a code issued by the Kendriya Vidyalaya School, the CBSE bylaw would prevail.
