IN the lead-up to next month’s Scottish Parliament elections, three hustings relevant to Borders voters will be held in the coming days. Tomorrow (Wednesday, April 21) at 7.30pm a virtual hustings over Zoom will be hosted by Borders environmental group Tweedgreen and Tweeddale Peace Group. This meeting will cover the constituency of Midlothian South, Tweeddale and Lauderdale. All constituency candidates have been invited, with organisers saying questions will “focus on the climate, peace and justice – all fundamental issues that are interlinked with the climate crisis, the COVID pandemic, and a green and just recovery from their effects”.
