It’s moments before the big game. The football team huddles in their personal locker room, equipped with a vast common room, energizing table games and their gigantic decorated lockers. Just a few steps across the hall, another locker room lies. This one, however, is jam packed with almost every team, dilapidated showers and not even.
As teenagers, romantic relationships seem like the ideal: the happy couples kissing on Instagram, walking each other to classes and sitting together to pose for pictures. This idealistic version of teenage romance represents only a portion of the reality of relationships. Being as young and inexperienced as teenagers are, it is important to keep in.
Among the plethora of books and burnt-out high schoolers that inhabited the library on May 11, students enrolled in African American, Black, Latino, and Puerto Rican Studies proudly presented their final project — an interactive museum exhibit. Due to the current Russian-Ukrainian War, many students have experienced a feeling of helplessness, as it is unclear what they can do to make a difference. As a result, Thomas Sargent ’22 and other student leaders have created a new club at Staples that offers students a way to become more aware about the war,.
