The parents of the 27 students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State recently released by their abductors have called for proper rehabilitation for the children.

The remaining 29 students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Afaka, Kaduna State, have been released. This is even as former President Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday cautioned the Federal Government against paying ransom to kidnappers and bandits, saying it is capable of encouraging criminals in their evil act.
It will be recalled that 39 students of the school were kidnapped 57 days ago by bandits who invaded and demanded payment of N500 million ransom to effect their release. ....

The Plateau State Police Command yesterday confirmed the abduction of a student pastor at the King’s School, run by the Calvary International Ministry, also known as CAPRO, in Barkin Ladi Local Government Area of the state.
Also, after fruitless efforts to secure the release of the 29 remaining abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation, Kaduna, the parents of the abductees have threatened to take their protest to the National Assembly.
The Plateau school is a few kilometres from the Yakubu Gowon Airport, Heipang in the same local government area. ....
